Abstract

Se presentan métodos para identificar compuestos que inhiben la activacion de la transcripcion por CIITA y por consiguiente inhiben la expresion de genes de clase II de MHC. Tales compuestos pueden afectar la induccion de una respuesta inmune. Los métodos emplean, independientemente, los dominios de activacion y de interacciones de CIITA. Los métodos emplean también los dominios de activacion e interaccion de proteínas de CIITA específicos para isotipo, permitiendo la identificacion de compuestos que son inhibidores de transcripcion específicos para isotipo y que son utiles para afectar selectivamente el sistema inmune.
