Abstract

TO PROVIDE A HEAD CAM TYPE ENGINE HAVING A CYLINDER STRUCTURE IN WHICH A CAM SHAFT AND ROCKER ARM SHAFTS CAN BE PREVENTED FROM COMING OFF BY A SINGLE STOPPER WHILE HEAD BOLTS ARE LOCATED AT OPTIMUM POSITIONS. A CYLINDER HEAD (15) HAS A STRUCTURE IN WHICH A CAM SHAFT (31) AND ROCKER ARM SHAFTS (42) CAN BE EXTRACTED IN THE SAME DIRECTION, AND A STOPPER (55) IS ATTACHED WITH A SINGLE FIXING BOLT (56) TO SAID CYLINDER HEAD (15) AT THE PLACE CORRESPONDING TO THE ENDS OF SAID SHAFTS ON THE EXTRACTION SIDE, SAID STOPPER (55) HAVING A CAM SHAFT STOPPER PORTION (55B) AND ROCKER ARM STOPPER PORTIONS (55C) FORMED INTEGRALLY THEREWITH.(FIG. 3)
