DRUM (14) HOUSING CHUCK (13) ROTATABLY IS ROTATED, SO THAT A FREE END OF PLATE (15) ON WHICH BUCKING GAUGE (16) IS BONDED URGES ARM (17) PROTRUDED FROM THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF CHUCK (13). ANOTHER END OF THE PLATE (15) IS FIXED TO THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF DRUM (14). ROTARY SHAFT (21) IS THUS ROTATED, AND PLATE (15) IS BUCKLED, WHICH CHANGES A RESISTANCE VALUE OF BUCKLING GAUGE (16) AND A ROTATING LOAD IMPOSED ON ROTARY SHAFT (21) CAN BE DETECTED CONTINUOUSLY.
