DISCLOSED IS AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE FOR A VEHICLE (1), OF WHICH A CYLINDER BLOCK (22, 122) IS INSTALLED IN A MANNER THAT ITS AXIAL LINE IS APPROXIMATELY HORIZONTAL AND INCLUDES A CYLINDER HEAD (24, 124) MOUNTED WITH AN INTAKE PORT (49), AN EXHAUST PORT (50) AND TWO ATTACHED PLUGS (64, 65). IN ADDITION, AN AIR JACKET (69) FOR COOLING CIRCUMFERENCES OF PLUG HOLES (66, 67) IS INSTALLED ON THE CYLINDER HEAD (22, 124), WHEREIN THE AIR JACKET (69) HAS AN L-SHAPED MAIN PASSAGE STARTING FROM A TRAVELING AIR INTRODUCING PORT (75) TO AN AIR DISCHARGE PORT (76). ONE OF THE PLUGS (64) IS INSTALLED NEAR THE TRAVELING AIR INTRODUCING PORT (75), WHILE THE OTHER PLUG (65) IS INSTALLED NEAR THE AIR DISCHARGE PORT (76), RESPECTIVELY.
