Abstract

TREATMENT METHOD FOR PALM TRUNK The treatment method for a palm trunk is provided with a solid-liquid separation step in which a palm trunk is crushed and thereafter compressed to effect solid-liquid separation, a liquid fuel-generating step in which liquid components separated in the solid-liquid separation step are distilled to generate a liquid fuel, a fertilizer-generating step in which fertilizer is generated from a fraction remaining after distillation of the liquid components in the liquid fuel-generating step, and a pelletizing step in which solid components separated in the solid-liquid separation step are compressed to form fuel pellets. The liquid fuel-generating step has a fermentation step which performs fermentation of liquid components separated in the solid-liquid separation step. In the solid-liquid separation step, compressing is carried out until the thus separated solid components provide a water content of 35% or less.
