Abstract

Provided is a long fiber nonwoven fabric that is suitable for top sheet and back sheet members of absorbent articles used as hygienic materials, and that has good tactile sense and fluffy softness and has little physical stimulation of the skin and high bulk. This nonwoven fabric is a partial thermocompressed nonwoven fabric of composite long fibers formed from two or more types of thermoplastic resin and is characterized in that the shape index of the thermocompressed part is greater than or equal to 0.05 and less than 1.9, the maximum abrasion depth is 10 ?m or less, and the cumulative abrasion depth is 80 ?m or less.
