Abstract

A support mechanism (50; 70) includes a support mechanism main body (51), and a plug (61; 71). The support mechanism main body includes a base part (52) that has a cylindrical shape, and a support part (56) that supports a swing fulcrum (42) of a rocker arm (40). The plug is held inside the base part. The support mechanism main body has a first through-hole (58) extending through a wall of the base part and a second through-hole (59) extending through a wall of the support part. The plug includes a fixed part (62) that is fixed inside the base part, and a flow regulation part (64; 72) that is disposed inside the base part such that a clearance serving as a lubricating oil flow passage is provided between the flow regulation part and an inner circumferential surface of the base part.
