Abstract

A vehicle seat apparatus of an embodiment of the present invention includes: a seat bracket (8) attached to a floor member (2) fixed to a vehicle frame member; a seat cushion frame (12) having a frame shape and including a front frame portion (12a) rotatably supported by the seat bracket between a use position (A) and a collapsed position (B) via a rotating shaft (9); and a protection bar (11) attached to the seat cushion frame, wherein a rear portion of the protection bar is fixed to one or both of a side frame portion (12c) and a rear frame portion (12b) of the seat cushion frame, and a front portion (11c) of the protection bar is rotatably supported by the seat bracket in a manner of being coaxial with the rotating shaft.
