Abstract

A method for culturing a freshwater microalga is provided, including a culture step of culturing a freshwater microalga at a culture temperature of 15C to 60C in a medium prepared such that the hydrogen ion concentration is pH 1.0 to 6.0 and the sodium ion concentration is 0.1 to 0.4 M.
