A latex formulation comprises blend of base polymers, wherein the blend of base polymers comprises (i) carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex having acrylonitrile content ranging between 25% to 35% by weight; and (ii) carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex having acrylonitrile content of more than 35% by weight. The carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex having acrylonitrile content ranging between 25% to 35% by weight is used in an amount ranging between 55.00 phr to 95.00 phr and the carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex having acrylonitrile content of more than 35% by weight is used in an amount ranging between 5.00 phr to 45.00 phr. A glove is prepared from the latex formulation as described above.
