Abstract

A spare tire carrier includes a carrier (10) and a supporter (20). The carrier (10) includes a body portion configured to support the spare tire from a lower side of the vehicle, and a shaft portion (12) bending and extending from a front end of the body portion and being supported by the supporter (20). The shaft portion (12) is inserted in the supporter (20) and is pivotable about a shaft center of the shaft portion (12) with respect to the supporter (20). One of the supporter (20) and the body portion is provided with a stopper (40) positioned near the shaft portion. When the carrier (10) moves in a direction in which the shaft portion (12) is pulled out of the supporter (20) in the state where the body portion carries the spare tire, one of the body portion (11) and the supporter (20) interferes with the stopper (40).
