Abstract

The cutting device has two cutter components. It is especially suitable for split plain tiles. The cutter carriers (25) may be pivoted into their inoperative and operative positions. Each cutter (25) is connected to a spindle (29, 30), the spindles being arranged coaxially (40) one within the other. Thus the cutter carriers pivot about the same axis (40) at the same time in the manner of scissors. The cutter carriers (25) are forked and the cutters (26) are in the form of wires and interchangeable. This cutting device is permanently installed on the extruding press belt. It is nevertheless easy to regulate, can be monitored and operates reliably.
