Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning for fremstilling av en forkortet papirbane. En våt bane (60) anordnet på en fluidpermeabel papirfremstillingsvire (20) presses mellom to parallelle og innbyrdes motsatte, første og andre presseflater (11, 12), idet den første presseflaten (11) danner kontakt med banen (60) og den andre presseflaten (12) danner kontakt med viren. l den kontinuerlige fremgangsmåten beveges presseflatene, banen og viren (20) i en maskinretning. Under trykk økes densiteten i det minste i utvalgte partier av banen som fester seg til den første presseflaten (11), som kan være behandlet med et kreppeklebemiddel (91). Den første flaten (11) oppvarmes for å danne en temperaturforskjell mellom to flater. Temperaturforskjellen bevirker at vannet som inneholdes i banen (60) drives fra banen og inn i viren (20) for derved å tørke banen. Etter at banen er frigjort for trykket forkortes banen enten ved krepping eller ved overføring av banen til en overføringsvire som beveger seg langsommere. Krepping utføres med et avstrykerblad (73) som befinner seg inntil kreppeflaten som banen er fastgjort til. Et kreppeklebemiddel kan påføres på kreppeflaten i henhold til et forutbestemt mønster. Kreppeflaten kan omfatte den første presseflaten. Eventuelt kan banen kalandreres etter å ha blitt forkortet.
