Abstract

Kjøretøymontert sender- og mottakerutstyr for fjernkommuni- kasjon med sender- og mottakerutstyr i stasjonære enheter ved veien. Utstyret er utformet for å kommunisere data for utførelse av betalings- og identifikasjonsoperasjoner. Kjø- retøyutstyret (1) består av to komponenter: en holder (2) som er utformet for å settes fast til et kjøretøy, og en hovedkomponent (3) innrettet for fjernbar kobling med hol- deren. Når den andre komponent ikke er plassert i holderen kan den ikke brukes for kommunikasjon. Dette oppnås ved en elektronisk blokkeringsfunksjon, som holder komponenten blokkert. Blokkeringsfunksjonen er fjernbar for å tillate aktivering av kommunikasjonen ved hjelp av et forhåndsbe- stemt kodesignal. I holderen (2) er det en innretning (16) innrettet for å indikere kodesignalet mens den andre komponent er plassert i holderen.
