Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for dirigering av en antennestråle, og en sender/mot- taker som omfatter antennegrupper (150) som former antennestråler i sende- retningen, og ved hjelp av disse strålene sendes et signal, og sender/mottakeren mottar signaler som forplanter seg via forskjellige baner. Sender/mottakeren om- fatter en estimeringsanordning (101) for å estimere ankomstretninger for de mot- tatte signalene, når sender/mottakeren mottar signaler som har forplantet seg via forskjellige baner, en måleanordning (102) for å måle styrkene av signalene som mottas fra forskjellige ankomstretninger, og en stråle-dirigeringsanordning (103). Dirigeringsanordningen kommanderer antennegruppen (150) til å forme, i sende- retningen, hoved-antennestrålen som dannes i den retning som det sterkeste sig- nalet blir mottatt fra, dersom de mottatte signalenes ankomstretninger bare skiller seg litt fra hverandre. Hvis de mottatte signalenes ankomstretninger skiller seg kraftig fra hverandre, kommanderer dirigeringsanordningen (103) antennegruppen (150) til å forme, i tillegg til hovedstrålen, en eller flere diversitetsstråler, som for- mes i den retning som et signal som overskrider den forhåndsbestemte terskel- verdien, blir mottatt fra.
