Abstract

En naturlig gummi anvendes for å gi forbedret emulgering av alkenyl ravsyre anhydrid (ASA) limmidler for papirproduk-ter. Den naturlige gummi kan være ikke-ionisk, kationisk, anionisk, amfotær, oksidert, derivatisert, eller modifi-sert. Den foretrukne naturlige gummi er fra familien av galaktomannangummier hvori guargummi er et primært eksem-pel.lkenyl ravsyre anhydrid (ASA) limemulsjon dannet med naturlig gummi forbedrer stabilitet og filmen dannet dis-tribueres jevnt, derved promoteres med jevn liming av pa-pirproduktet. Forholdet av ASA til naturlig gummi i emulsjonen varierer fra 0,01:1 til 100:1, og fortrinnsvis 0,1:1 til 20:1. Mengden av ASA lim er 0,45 kg per tonn til 4,5 kg per tonn av ferdig papirprodukt og fortrinnsvis 0,9 kg per tonn til 3,6 kg per tonn. En surfaktant kan anvendes for videre å forbedre stabiliteten av emulsjonen.
