Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å sette en førte terminal i et pakkebasert nett i stand til å kommunisere med en andre terminal som aksesserer en fjernaksesstjener, innbefattende trinnene med å registrere kallenavnet (alias) og IP (Internet Protocol)-adressene til den første terminalen og fjemaksesstj eneren hos gatekeeperen, å la den første terminalen sende til gatekeeperen en melding for å anmode om en forbindelse med den andre terminalen, å la gatekeeperen anmode fjemaksesstj eneren om å forbinde seg med den andre terminalen selv om den ikke er registrert hos gatekeeperen, å la fjemaksess-tjeneren anmode den andre terminalen om å registrere sitt kallenavn (alias) og IP-adresse hos gatekeeperen, og å etablere kommunikasjon mellom den første og den andre terminalen gjennom gatekeeperen.
