Abstract
The invention relates to a fluid cooling device comprising a combined (10) cooling, filtering, pumping and control device, whereby fluid pumped by a pump (16) in a fluid circuit (18) can be filtered by a filtering device (14) and can be cooled by a cooling device (12). In said invention, a control device (42) has a fluid flow distributor (44). Said fluid flow distributor (44) is located in the secondary arm (46) of the cooling device (12) and said device can be controlled independently of the temperature of the fluid to be cooled in such a way that at lower fluid temperatures below a predefinable temperature threshold value (54), the cooling device is at least (12) partially supplied with fluid, thereby improving upon known fluid cooling devices and thereby subjecting the cooling device to a lower load during operation.
