Abstract
Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte ved drift av et måleapparat som har flere diagnosefunksjoner. I henhold til oppfinnelsen er det for gjennomføring av diagnosefunksjonene anordnet en slik sekvensstyring at måleapparatets normale måledrift avbrytes for under avbruddet i den normale måledrift å gjennomføre en første diagnosefunksjon hvoretter den normale måledrift gjenopptas etter gjennomføringen av den første diagnosefunksjon og måleapparatets normale måledrift avbrytes på ny for under avbruddet i den normale måledrift å gjennomføre en andre diagnosefunksjon. På denne måte kan en mengde diagnosefunksjoner enkelt og effektivt integreres med driften av et måleapparat, slik som et magnetisk/induktivt volumstrømmåleapparat.
