Abstract
Det er beskrevet fremgangsmåter og anordninger for sammenkobling av forede metallrør (110, 120), spesielt tilknyttet offshore olje- og gassindustrien. Korrosjon er et vanlig problem innen industrien. Foring av rør overvinner problemet, mens sammensveising av rørseksjoner kan være en komplisert og tidkrevende oppgave, som krever dedikert og sofistikert bearbeiding og verktøy.
