Abstract
Et system, komponenter og fremgangsmåter tilveiebringer regulert sendereffekt i et trådløst kommunikasjonssystem hvor både dedikerte og delte kanaler benyttes. En nettverksenhet har fortrinnsvis en mottaker for mottak av UL brukerdata fra WTRU på UL DCH og minst en UL SCH og en prosessor for beregning av målsatte metrikker for UL DCH basert på mottaket av signaler som er sendt av en WTRU på en UL DCH som er tilknyttet en UL SCH som kan brukes av WTRU. Det er tilveiebrakt en delt kanalmålsatt metrikkgenerator som er konfigurert til å mate ut en respektiv UL SCH målsatt metrikk som er utledet fra hver beregnede UL DCH målsatte metrikk. Hver WTRU har fortrinnsvis en prosessor som er konfigurert til å beregne UL DCH effektjusteringer for en LTL DCH som er tilknyttet en UL DCH som en funksjon av UL DCH målsatte metrikker som er beregnet av nettverksenheten basert på mottaket av signaler som er sendt av WTRU på UL DCH og UL SCH effektjusteringer for den tilknyttede UL SCH som en funksjon av de respektive UL SCH målsatte metrikker som mates ut fra delt kanal målsatt metrikkgeneratoren. De målsatte metrikker er fortrinnsvis målsatte signal til interferensforhold (SIR).
