Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår på den ene side en fremgangsmåte for tilveiebringing av et belegg på overflatene av et produkt med en åpen cellestruktur tvers igjennom hele produktets struktur, hvor nevnte belegg tilveiebringes ved hjelp av en plasma-polymerisasjonsprosess. Skummet må fremstilles for plasma-polymerisasjonsprosessen med utgangspunkt i den spesifikke prosessen. Polymerisasjon gjennomføres inne i de åpne og semi-åpne cellestrukturene på en kvalitativ og homogen måte. På den andre side angår oppfinnelsen anvendelsen av en fremgangsmåte som beskrevet i det foregående som et hydrofobt, oleofobt, flammehemmende belegg og/eller barrierebelegg på overflatene til en polymer med åpne celler tvers igjennom dens polymere struktur.
