Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for utskilling og gjenvinning av ikke-jernholdige metaller fra sinkbærende rester, særlig fra rester som produseres i den sinkfremstillende industri. Fremgangsmåten muliggjør en valorisering av metallverdiene i en Zn-, Fe- og Pb-bærende rest, og innbefatter trinnene: - utsetting av resten for et direkte reduksjonstrinn, deretter tilveiebringelse av en metallisk Fe-bærende fase og Zn- og Pb-bærende første damper; - uttrekking av de Zn- og Pb-bærende første damper og valorisering av Zn og Pb; - utsetting av den metalliske Fe-bærende fase for et oksiderende smeltetrinn, hvorved det fremstilles et Fe-bærende slagg og andre metallbærende damper; - uttrekking av de andre metallbærende damper og valorisering av i det minste en del av deres metalliske innhold. Hovedfordelen med denne fremgangsmåten er at det oppnås et miljømessig akseptabelt Fe-resultat.
