Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å bestemme én eller flere parametere for en bergartsprøve, hvor fremgangsmåten innebærer det d måle prøvens magnetiske susceptibilitet og bestemme en verdi for parameteren ved å bruke denne målte susceptibilitet. Den målte susceptibilitet kan for eksempel brukes til å bestemme fraksjonsinnholdet av én eller to bestanddeler av prøven. Den på forhånd bestemte parameterinformasjon, for eksempel permeabilitet, lagres fortrinnsvis som en funksjon av magnetisk susceptibilitet (eller en funksjon av denne). Ved å bruke denne lagrede informasjon kan man ut fra den målte magnetiske susceptibilitet bestemme en parameterverdi for en prøve som er til undersøkelse.
