Abstract
Fremgangsmåter for fremstilling av et apolipoprotein i planter er beskrevet. I én utførelsesform tilveiebringer foreliggende oppfinnelse en fremgangsmåte for ekspresjon av apolipoprotein i planter omfattende: (a) tilveiebringe en kimær nukleinsyrekonstruksjon omfattende i 5' til 3- transkripsjonsretningen som operabelt bundne komponenter: (i) en nukleinsyresekvens i stand til å styre ekspresjon i planteceller; og (ii) en nukleinsyresekvens som koder for et apolipoprotein-polypeptid; (b) innføre den kimære nukleinsyrekonstruksjonen inn i en plantecelle; og dyrke plantecellen til en moden plante i stand til å sette frø hvori frøet uttrykker apolipoprotein.
