Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og system for opplinkssynkronisering (UL-synkronisering) av en opplinksutsendelse fra flere trådløse sendermottakerenheter (WTRU) til en B-node i et kodedelt multippelaksessystem (CDMA-system). En B-node mottar en utsendelse som inkluderer en UL-synkroniseringssekvens (SYNC - UL) fra en WTRU. En sampler punktprøver utsendelsen ved en samplingstakt som er høyere enn en såkalt "chip"-takt. Punktprøvene nedsamples og SYNC - UL-sekvensen detekteres ved en lavere takt. En første signifikant banelokalisering for den detekterte SYNC-UL-sekvensen bestemmes, og på grunnlag av den første signifikante banelokaliseringen bestemmes en endelig signifikant banelokalisering. Den endelige signifikante banelokaliseringen kvantiseres og oppPCHPOS utsendes til WTRU for å justere en UL-utsendelsestidsstyring.
