Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse gjelder optisk aktive, heteroaromatiske (-hydroksyestere med formel (I): som er anvendbare i syntesen av epo-tilonderivater til (-ketoestere med formel (IV): som anvendes for fremstilling av disse intermediatene ved hjelp av en asymmetrisk hydrogenering med en kiral metall-katalysator eller en mikrobiologisk eller enzymatisk reduksjon, så vel som fremgangsmåter for fremstilling av dem (I), hvor: A er en bisyklisk, hetero-aromatisk rest med formel (A): hvor "heteroaromatisk" står for en heteroaromatisk ring med fem eller seks medlemmer og opptil to heteroatomer utvalgt blant oksygen, nitrogen og svovel, som om ønskelig er substituert
