Abstract
Koding av et audiosignal bestående av en frekvens av audioverdier til et kodet signal omfatter bestemmelse av en første lytteterskel for en blokk av audioverdier i sekvensen av audioverdier og en andre lytteterskel for en andre blokk av audioverdisekvensen av audioverdier; beregning av en versjon av en første parameterisering av et parameteriserbart filter slik at overføringsfunksjonen av denne grovt vil korrespondere til den inverse av størrelsen av den første lytteterskel og en versjon av en andre parameterisering for det paraineteriserbare filter slik at overføringsfunksjonen av denne grovt vil korrespondere til den inverse av størrelsen av den andre lytteterskel; filtrering av en forutbestemt blokk audioverdier i sekvensen av audioverdier med parameteriserbare filter ved å benytte en forutbestemt parameterisering som på en forutbestemt måte vil avhenge av versjonen av den andre parameterisering for å fremskaffe en blokk av filtrerte audioverdier som korresponderer til den forutbestemte blokk; kvantisering av de filtrerte audioverdier for å fremskaffe en blokk av kvantiserte, filtrerte audioverdier; danning av en kombinasjon av versjonen av den første parameterisering og versjonen av den andre parameterisering omfattende i det minste en differanse mellom versjonen av den første paraineterisering og versjonen av den andre paraineterisering; og integrering av innformasjon fra hvilken de kvantiserte, filtrerte audioverdier og en versjon av den første parameterisering kan fremskaffes og som inkluderer kombinasjonen inn i det kodede signal.
