Abstract

Det er beskrevet en syntese av mikroporøs silikagel og dens anvendelse for fremstilling av katalysatorer for C-oksygenatsyntese fra syngas. De små partiklene av silikagel som er fremstilt ved solgelprosessen oppvarmes i en basisk oppløsning, etterfulgt av tørking og/eller kalsineringer, og danner derved mikroporøs silika som katalysatorbærer. Den basiske oppløsningen kan være en eller en blandet oppløsning av hydroksyder, karbonater, bikarbonater, formater og acetater av alkalimetall og ammonium. Den oppnådde mikroporøse silika kan impregneres med oppløsningene av rhodiumsalt og andre overgangselementsalter (som promoterforstadier), etterfulgt av tørking og/eller kalsineringer, for derved å danne en mikroporøs, silikabåret rhodiumbasert katalysator. Rhodiumsaltet kan være RhCleller Rh(N0). Promoterforstadiene kan være vannoppløsbare overgangsmetallsalter, sjeldne jordartsmetallsalter, alkalimetallsalter og jordalkalimetallsalter. De oppnådde katalysatorene viser høy aktivitet og selektivitet ved syntesen av C-oksygenater ved hydrogeneringen av CO under milde prosessbetingelser.
