Abstract

Det beskrives nye DNA-sekvenser som koder for forgrenet kjede a-ketosyre-dehydrogenase-komplekset av en organisme tilhørende slekten Stieptomyces, og nye polypeptider fremstilt ved ekspresjon av slike sekvenser. Det beskrives også nye fremgangsmåter for å øke fremstillingen av naturhg avermectin, for fremstilling av en Stieptomyces avermitihs bkd-mutant og for fremstilling av nye avermectiner ved fermentering.
