Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a nuevas secuencias de ADN que codifican el complejo alfa-cetoácido deshidrogenasa de cadena ramificada de un organismo que pertenece al género Streptomyces y a nuevos polipéptidos producidos por la expresión de tales secuencias. También se refiere a nuevos procedimientos de potenciar la producción de avermectina natural, de producir un mutante bkd de Streptomyces avermitilis y de producir nuevas avermectinas por fermentación.
