Abstract

Brenselcelle bestående av enkle komponenter. Denne brenselcellen er fortrinnsvis konstruert som en anodestøttet fast oksidbrenselcelle, men kan også anvendes med elektrolytt- og metall-støttede faste oksidbrenselceller. Anoden (8) og elektrolytten (9) er større enn katoden (10) og den delen av anode/elektrolytt som stikker utenfor katoden (10) er utstyrt med en omkretstetning (1l). Anode/elektrolytt/Icatodekombinasjonen er tilveiebragt med et strømnings-/gassdistribusjonsgitter på både anode og katodesiden. Anode/katodekombinasjonen innbefattende strømnings-/gassdistribusjonsgitteret er innelukket mellom to separatorplater (3), en hjelpeplate (16) og et avstandsstykke (12). Det er en omkretstetning (1l). Hj elpeplaten (16) er utformet for ekstem mating og uttømming av katodegass, mens separatorplaten og hjelpeplaten er produsert med åpninger for intern mating/uttømming av anodegass. Skjøtingen av hjelpeplaten og avstandsstykket til separatorplaten utføres ved hjelp av en loddeskjøt. De andre to tetningene utføres med en metallisk tetning, slik som en sølvtråd. På denne måten kan en cellestabel bestående av minst tjuefem brenselceller produsert på denne måten, bygges opp ved anvendelse av enkle komponenter tilveiebragt for eksempel utfra ark/tynnplater ved utstansing. Oppfinnelsen utføres fortrinnsvis ved anvendelse av intem distribusjon av anodegass og ekstem distribusjon/fordeling av katodegass, og som et resultat av dette tilveiebringes en kompakt, sikker cellestabel.
