Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse omhandler enantioselektiv fremstilling av sulfoksidderivater eller deres salter. Fremgangsmåten består i å utføre en enantioselektiv oksidasjon av et svovel med generell formel A-CH2-S-B hvori A er en pyridinylring substituert på forskjellig måte og B en heterosyklisk rest som omfatter en imidazopyridinyl ring, ved anvendelse av et oksidasjonsmiddel i nærvær av en titan(IV)-basert katalysator og en kiral ligand som består av en syklisk beta- eller gamma-aminoalkohol, i et organisk løsemiddel, fulgt hvis nødvendig av saltdannelse med en base. Oppfinnelsen er egnet for fremstilling av sulfoksider som er nyttige i terapeutiske midler.
