Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte til å fremstille renset kalsiumnitrat. På grunn av innføring av et sentrifugeringstrinn i et tidlig trinn i prosessen blir sedimentering av vannuløselige partikler forhindret på et senere trinn i prosessen slik at flotasjon effektivt kan utføres. Sandfiltrering avslutter renseprosessen i henhold til foreliggende oppfinnelse og derved blir mengden av urenheter i væsken overraskende redusert. Med denne kontinuerlige metode er det mulig å oppnå klart renset kalsiumnitrat hvori innholdet av vannuløselige partikler er godt under 150 ppm i fast kalsiumnitrat.
