Abstract

Den superledende kabel omfatter en superledende tråd viklet i spiralform for å utgjøre et superledende lag (lederlag (13), returleder (17)), et spenningsavlastende lag (indre spenningsavlastende lag (12)), et isolerende lag/ytre spenningsavlastende lag. (16) anordnet på innsiden av det superledende lag, og et kabeldannende element (kjerneelement (11)) anordnet på innsiden av det spenningsavlastende lag. Det spenningsavlastende lag er innrettet for å absorbere sammentrekningen av det superledende lag i radial retning, som skjer ved avkjøling av den superledende tråd ved hjelp av et kjølemiddel.
