Abstract
ITQ-27 (INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGÍA QUÍMICA nummer 27) er et nytt krystallinsk mikroporøst materiale med et rammeverk av tetrahedriske atomer forbundet med atomer i stand til å brobygge de tetrahedriske atomene, det tetrahedriske atomrammeverket defineres av forbindelser mellom de tetrahedrisk koordinerte atomene i dets rammeverk. ITQ-27 kan fremstilles i silikatsammensetninger, med et organisk strukturrettende middel. Det har et unikt røntgendiffraksjonsmønster, som identifiserer det som et nytt materiale. ITQ-27 er stabil for kalsinering i luft, absorberer hydrokarboner, og er katalytisk aktiv for hydrokarbonkonvertering.
