Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for å produsere et avlangt skallelement fremstilt av fiberkomposittmateriale ved hjelp av vakuuminfusjon' idet fibermaterialet blir impregnert med flytende polymer. En form blir brukt med et formhulrom hvor en fiberinnsats (3) med en første sideflate (1) og en andre sideflate (2) blir plassert, og hvor fiberinnsatsen omfatter flere fiberlag og et fordelingslag (4), idet fordelingslaget gir en høyere strømningsrate for den flytende polymer enn fiberlagene. En halvpermeabel membran (5) blir plassert motstående den første sideflate (1) av fiberinnsatsen, idet den halvpermeable membran er vesentlig permeabel for gass og vesentlig ikke-permeabel for flytende polymer og videre kommuniserer med en vakuumkilde. Fordelingslaget (4) blir plassert inne i fiberinnsatsen (3) med fiberlag på begge sider og blir avbrutt av en sone (6) motstående den halvpermeable membran (5). Flytende polymer blir ført via innløpskanalene (7, 8) til fordelingslaget (4) og frembringer således en strømfront (9, 10) mellom fordelingslaget (4) og den andre sideflate (2), idet strømfronten beveger seg gjennom den sentrale sone (6) mot den halvpermeable membran (5).
