Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen vedrører et materiale til fremstilling av deler eller belegg tilpasset til høy slitasje og friksjonsintensive anvendelser, der nevnte material innbefatter forlagede harde materialpartikler laget av karbider, som er tilfeldig innesluttet i en matriks i et grunnmateriale. Med sikte på å fremskaffe et materiale som er egnet til å fremstille deler eller belegg med høy slitasjemotstand, og som på samme tid forårsaker en lav friksjonsmotstand, foreslås det at karbidpartiklene er forlagede sfæriske partikler med en hardhet i området mellom 1000 og 2000 HV/10 og nevnte grunnmateriale er en Ni-basert legering som i tillegg innbefatter C, Cr, Mo, Fe, Si, B og Cu i følgende områder (i vekt-%): C 0,005-1,0; Cr 10,0-26,0; Mo 8,0-22,0; Fe 0,1-10,0; Si 3,0-9,0; B 1,0-5,0; Cu 0,1-<5,0.
