Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for kvantitativ hemoglobinbestemmelse i ufortynnet, uhemolysert helblod som omfatter: erverve en prøve av uendret helblod inn i en kapillærkuvette, ved å introdusere nevnte kuvette til et oppsett for absorpsjonsmåling, forsinke absorpsjonsmålingen i en bestemt tidsperiode, utføre en første absorpsjonsmåling ved en første bølgelende i området 490-520 nm direkte på prøven i kuvetten, videre utføre en andre absorpsjonsmåling ved en andre bølgelende forskjellig fra den første bølgelengden og hvorved absorpsjonen i all vesentlighet er mindre enn ved den første bølgelenden, og prosessering av resultatene av de første og andre absorpsjonsmålingene for å bestemme konsentrasjonen av hemoglobin i prøven. Et system for implementering av fremgangsmåten er også beskrevet.
