Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en forbindelse som har affinitet med amyloid, viser tilstrekkelig hurtig klaring fra normalt vev og er undertrykt når det gjelder toksisitet slik som mutagenisitet. Tilveiebrakt er en forbindelse representert ved følgende formel (1) eller et salt derav: hvori Ai, A2, A3 og A4 representerer uavhengig et karbon eller nitrogen; R1 er en halogensubstituent; R2 er en halogensubstituent; og m er et heltall på 0 til 2, forutsatt at minst én av R1 og R2 er en radioaktiv halogensubstituent, minst én av Ai, A2, A3 og A4 representer et karbon, og R1 binder til et karbon representert ved Ai, A2, A3 eller A4 så vel som et lavtoksisk, diagnostisk middel som innbefatter en forbindelse representert ved den foregående formel eller et salt derav.
