Abstract

En opphentbar ventiltrehette til bruk på et undervanns ventiltre som har en konsentrisk boring. Undervanns ventiltrehetten kan installeres og hentes opp ved bruk av en fjernstyrt farkost. Hydraulisk trykk kan brukes til å låse ventiltrehetten på undervanns ventiltreet og til å sette ventiltrehettetetningene. Ventiltrehetten låses på undervanns ventiltreet før setting av tetningene inne i den konsentriske boring. Ventiltrehetten inkluderer et låsemiddel som kan gå i inngrep med en profil inne i undervanns ventiltreet uten hensyn til den radiale orientering av ventiltrehetten. Ventiltrehetten kan brukes til å isolere en ringromsboring fra produksjonsboringen i undervanns ventiltreet hydraulisk. Ventiltrehetten kan sørge for innsprøyting av en korrosjonsinhibitor inne i et hulrom i ventiltrehetten, og kan også sørge for fjerning av vann som er innestengt mellom ventiltrehetten og undervanns ventiltreet.
