Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer et vibrerende siktapparat (1) for bruk ved fjerning av faste bestanddeler fra en flytende matemasse og en kurv (4) for dette. Apparatet omfatter et statisk ytterhus (2) og en flytende kurv som kan vibreres av en vibratorinnretning (10). Kurven monterer en stabel (7) av siktsammenstillinger (8) forsynt med respektive strømningsførende trau (9) for å motta filtrater fra siktsammenstillingene.
