Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning for behandling av et hydrocarbonbrensel, hvor hydrocar- bonbrenselet behandles med en magnet som har en magnetisk flukstetthet på 5-18 gauss ved sydpolen og en magnetisk flukstetthet som er lavere enn 6 gauss ved nordpolen, idet forholdet mellom den sistnevnte og den førstnevnte magne- tiske flukstetthet ikke overskrider | 0.5. Ved bruk av magneten ifolge oppfin- ] nelsen kan brenselkostnadene reduseres til 70-80% sammenlignet med bruk av ubehandlet brensel.
