En fremgangsmåte og anordning for utsettlngstesting av en optisk fiber (14). Oppfinnelsen involverer fastgjarlngen av en kapsel (12) til et høyhastighets- luftfartøy med en fallskjerm frigjort under flukt for å initiere utsetting.
