Abstract
Partikkelformig blanding omfattende et isotiazolinon eller isotiazolotion eller et salt eller kompleks derav og et vannloselig metallsalt. Saltet er typisk et metallsalt, f.eks. natriumsaltet av l,2-benzisotiazolin-3-on, og det vannloselige metallsaltet er spesielt et alkalimetallsalt såsom dinatrium- hydrogenfosfat. En foretrukket blanding kan oppnås ved å røre sammen et isotiazolinon eller isotiazolotion, en base og et alkalimetallfosfat i nærvær av vann inntil det oppnås et tort partikkel formig produkt. Det partikkelformige produktet er typisk svært og raskt løselig i vann, og kan lagres i en beholder laget utifra et vannløselig materiale, f.eks. en pose laget av polyvinylalkohol.
