Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en innvendig kjølt valse i et strengstøpeanlegg, særlig en støtte- og føringsvalse, med en mantel av kopper eller legeringer rundt en kjerne av jernmateriale og forbundet med kjernen, og med en slitasjebeskyttelse rundt mantelen. For å oppnå en innvendig kjølt, formstabil valse i et strengstøpe-anlegg, med høy slitasjefasthet og samtidig høy varmeledningsevne, foreslås det at slitasjebeskyttelsen skal bestå av et på mantelen (2) påført mellomsjikt (3) med lavere varmeledningsevne enn kopper, og av minst et på mellomsjiktet (3) påsveiset dekksjikt (4). Det beskrives også en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en slik innvendig kjølt valse.
