Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse omhandler somatotropin- analoger med aminosyreforandringer i a-heliks-3-regioriene til nevnte somatotropiner, forandringer i a-heliks-2-regionene, kombinasjoner derav pluss kombinasjoner med andre forandringer i forhold til den naturlige aminosyresekvensen til somato- tropinene. De resulterende analogene er stabile med hensyn til formulering i protraherte frigjcringsformuleringer, mens biologisk aktivitet er beholdt. Videre, fremgangsmåter for å utføre seterettet mutagenese i DNA som koder for proteiner og/eller polypeptider, blir også beskrevet.
