Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for adskillelse av racemiske blandinger av beta-hydroksy- eller beta- acyloksy-delta-valerolaktoner som i posisjon 2 og/eller 5 av laktonringen er substituert med hydrogen, alkylgrupper med 4 til 20 C-atomer, som eventuelt kan være avbrutt av et oksygenatom eller substituert med aralkylgrupper, hvorved ikke begge posisjoner er substituert med hydrogen, ved omsetning av den racemiske blandingen ved hjelp av en hydrolase med eller uten forestringsmiddel i et fortynningmiddel og adskillelse av reaksjonblandingen som inneholder et enantiomerrent beta-hydroksy-delta-valerolakton og et enantiomerrent beta-acyloksy-delta-valerolakton, ved vanlige fremgangsmåter til de enantlomerrene forbin- delsene, anvendelse av fremgangsmåten for fremstilling av enantiomerrene oksetanoner og enantiomerrene beta- acyloksy-delta-valerolaktoner.
