Abstract
Forbindelser med aldose-reduktase-aktivitet, som har formelen: hvor X er CH2, CH2CH2, -CHCH3 eller -CH2-C-NH; Y er O eller S; R1 er eventuelt substituert benzotiazol-2-yl, benzoksazol-2-yl, benzofuran-2-yl, benzotiofen-2-yl, tiazolopyridin-2-yl, oksazolopyridin-2-yl, 3-fenyl-l,2,4-oksadiazol-5-yl og 5- fenyl-1,2,4-oksadiazol-3-yl, hvor de substituerte gruppene er substituert med en eller flere, og fortrinnsvis to substituenter som uavhengig er valgt fra fluor, klor, brom, metyl og trifluormetyl; R2 og R3 er uavhengig valgt fra hydrogen, fluor, klor, brom, (C1.t)alkyl, metyl-(Cj.J alkyltio, (C^.J alkoksy og trif luormetyl, eller R2 og R3 sammen med karbonatomet de er-bundet til, danner en gruppe W, hvor W er <CH2) eller hvor p er l eller 2 og U1 og U2 uavhengig er CH2, O eller S, med det forbehold at U1 og U2 ikke begge er O eller S; R"1 er hydrogen, eller en "prodrug" gruppe; eller et farmasøytisk godtagbart salt derav.
