Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning for akustisk strømnings-måling for å måle strømningshastigheten (v) til gass og/eller størrelsen utledet derav. En langbølgelyd sendes inn i målerøret (10) og ved hjelp av to lyddetektorer (14a, 14b) anbrakt med en viss avstand (L) fra t hverandre i forbindelse med målerøret (10) detekteres lydsignaler som forplanter seg i gasstrømmen nedstrøms og/eller- oppstrøms, idet strømningshastig-heten (v) til gassen som flyter i målerøret (10) bestemmes ved hjelp av korrelasjon av lydsignalene. En lydhastighet cq(T) i et stillestående medium, hvilken lydhastighet har blitt standardisert eller vil bli standardisert for en viss temperatur, lagres i et lager (20M) og strømningshastigheten (v) og de 'andre størrelsene som kan bli utledet derav, dersom noen, beregnes i det minste ved forstyrrelser ved hjelp av den detekterte nedstrømshastigheten Vq- eller den detekterte oppstrømshastigheten vu og ved hjelp av lydhastigheten (c(T)) ved stillestående medium lagret i lageret (20M).
